How to turn off Laptop screen?

When you are using the Laptop for about 5-10 minutes, the Laptop will automatically turn off the screen to save battery power. However if you don't like can easily change this setting.

The computer automatically turns off the screen when not in use can help you save battery power, but quite inconvenient when you read books, documents, read stories ... You can increase the time to automatically turn off the screen from the default 5 min to 15 min, 30 min or 1 hour, 5 hours ... or never.

How to change the time automatically turn off the screen on a Laptop

Step 1: right-click on the icon on the taskbar to select laptop Battery Power Options.

Step 2: click the line Change plan settings on the right Power plan your computer is using (Power plan in use will have traces of circles as marked in picture below).

Step 3: change the laptop automatically turns off the screen in the Turn off the display . Look to the right, click on the time frame of the section On battery to select the time that the laptop will automatically turn off the screen when on battery, in which the Minutes are minutes, Hours and hours is Never is never off the screen.

Step 4: continue to press on the time frame in the Plugged in to select the time that the laptop will automatically turn off the screen when plugged in to charge, in which Minutes are minutes, Hours and hours is Never is never off the screen.

Step 5: finally hit the Save changes button to save your changes.

So after this laptop will automatically turn off the screen by the time you've installed above.

Tips: in the Edit Plan Settings also have additional options to set the time the computer will auto Sleep (asleep) when you do not use. You can change in the Put the computer to sleep setting similar to automatically turn off the screen above.
